With over £3,600 raised so far, fundraising for The Beehive Community Complex is fast gathering pace in Honiton. The latest project set to raise hundreds of pounds involves Honiton residents spring cleaning their wardrobes and donating any unwanted clothes. A spokesperson for the fundraising group said “We’re asking supporters to give any unwanted clothing, shoes, bedding, curtains or handbags as we can turn these into funds. Drop off bags of clothes on a weekday morning at the town council office on New Street or we will happily come and collect from you.”
Planning permission has been given for The Beehive and you can follow progress on the fundraising on the Beehive Facebook page and join the supporters email list by contacting Sharon Pavey email@example.com. If you have bags of clothing ready to be picked up from your doorstep please call Sharon on 07740973990.
